I had to wait 2 weeks, but with help from the "paw in law" he came up with a good idea for the roof. We got the roof completed, and I caulked and sealed the whole thing plus finished the bottom with hardiplank to fill in the gaps due to the existing pad being very un-level.
I cannot wait to start growing my plants for the garden.
We have a small 5.5 acre plot of land outside Atlanta that we call home. I call it a hybrid homestead as we both have fulltime jobs so we do what we can to feed ourselves and work the land. Picture "Greens Acres" without the pig.

Greenhouse Construction Part3
I worked all the next weekend and got all the walls finished and found a great door. So I got it all enclosed and it is really starting to be cool.

Greenhouse Construction Part1
I decided to upgraded from my small Harbor Freight Greenhouse that I have been using for the last 5 years. I contacted a window company I used to work for back in the day and asked if they had any wood windows that I could use. They agreed to let me use some that they had just taken out. Told me I could have all that I wanted. So I went by and got a full truckload. It took a little prior planning to figure out the walls...also, there was an existing cement pad at the end of my garden area that I wanted the greenhouse to be on, so I was working with set dimensions of the pad and the dimensions of the windows. After some trial and error I started construction.
