Good squash production, plants look healthy. Cucumbers starting to rock and roll. Tomatoes looking good, only a few cherry maters ripe so far.

We have a small 5.5 acre plot of land outside Atlanta that we call home. I call it a hybrid homestead as we both have fulltime jobs so we do what we can to feed ourselves and work the land. Picture "Greens Acres" without the pig.

May 1, first tomato row in completely, and most of the pepper row. May 7, got first small tomatoes fruiting.

Put plants in the ground today, 38 tomatoes, 6 cucumbers, 6 squash-zuchini, 3 tomatillos, 10 peppers, 1st round of plants planted, can't wait for some fresh veggies.

Winter plants
Planted some radish,carrots,lettuce,Swiss chard,cabbage,and broccoli. We'll see if they do well by the spring.
